Celebration of Sport (2024)
This year, our usual sports day had a revamp!
The Celebration of Sport took place across the school, with 4 separate activities in the hall, on the playground, the astro and the field. Children split into their house groups and cycled through a carousel of activities throughout the morning. Parents were invited to take part, and many did just that. The focus was on participation and fun for all, and it was wonderful to see everyone taking part. The weather stayed dry and we had a super fun morning celebrating the joys of sport. Following the morning session, many parents joined us for a communal lunch outside on the grass, with lots commenting on how delicious the food was. In the afternoon, our sports coach carried out a further short session with some fun playground games and a plenary with each class. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
